   Domains will always be passed on to a consuming domain controller – no worries. You might have to change who you pay, but you won’t suddenly lose your domain.

   I’m notsure but that wouldn’t be so great. However you should make sure you choose the right company for you and check its reliability. I knopw I did so with my web hosting company http://www.hostmee.com and I am pretty much syure it won’t go burst.

   If the hosting company is experiencing server maintenance, you may not be able to access your blog for a stipulated time. However, if your hosting company gets busted, then you will lose all your entries. It is advisable to make a backup of all your posts once in while. If you’re going to make your site primarily a blog, then I personally recommend WordPress. Check with your host’s site what they provide before signing up. Most hosts come with WordPress included. You just need to do a simple configuration to get it started once you get the host. All about WordPress here at http://wordpress.org/

   If you use WordPress, it has a function built in where it will allow you to make a full backup of your blog and convert it to something like a XML file. If you have a last known copy of this backup file made, if one day your hosting server dies on you, you can easily get a new host and just import this file and all the saved entries will be retained. Hope that answers your question.

   Since you’re on the topic of hosting, Bluehost is good but Hostgator is where I’d look at.    I want to have the own domain for my blog, so I plan to use a webhosting company like bluehost. However, I wonder what will happen to my blog, if one day the hosting company doesn’t function anymore. Will I lose all my entries?
