How does the internet get web pages on here?
You know how sites let you host your own sites? Well how do THOSE sites get their sites then? How can websites go up without another website hosting it and stuff like that? It baffles me.
What can I do with my extra computers?
I am looking to make some profit too. Something like web hosting, ftp hosting, uploading stuff. Whatever. I have one P4 which is good, going to run windows xp or server not sure yet. The other one is a real bad one, so I will put linux on it. Any Ideas as to what I can do with them? I have no knowledge in the matter. I would like to create some sort of server with them, and if possible profit. Thanks.

im not really good in web designing and i cay say that i only know basic stuff to begin with. but im sure that i can always learn and ask in the future. can anyone recommend any good hosting server (free, if there’s any) for a newbie like me? thanks 
What is decent inexpensive hosting company?
I want to start my very own website but like many of us, am short on cash. I understand if you want the good stuff, you should be ready to pony up the cash. All I want is a host company that has at least 2 databases, php, at least able to point to 2 domains, phpmyadmin (not really that necessary but desired), decent storage and bandwidth. I want to start a web site but i have verry little knowledge how should i get started?
Im looking to start my own web site i want my own domain name and all that good stuff i a few HTML codes but thats it. I have access to dreamweaver but i dont know how to use it.
