Creating a Website and using MYSql?
I’m not sure how this works so this may make no sense. If you create a website and just want something simple using MySQL. Do you copy up the database along with your code to your hosting server or do you need to have it recreated on the hosting server? I know my host has SQL support, which is extra and i’m on a budget, but for MySQL does it copy up and you just reference the database in the Web code to point to it?

Hi I’ve been trying to make my own website which I was successful but dang it doesn’t look very pretty or eye catching. One problem that I’ve come across is SEO and I’ve heard that Google does not recognize my website because of the amount of “%20” in the URL address for my pages. How to make a default template for all documents on a web page?
I really don’t know how to phrase this better. I’m using a program that automatically uploads all the screenshots I take to my own ftp hosting server, and I would want the file to be not a plain picture, but with a background image, perhaps some music playing etc. This probably has something to do with PHP, which I don’t know too well. I hope you got what I meant.
Anybody know how to put web pages onto the internet?
I’m trying to find a place to put my web page i made with web page maker. I Have everything done on it i just need to find a place to upload my web page for a hosting server so people can look at it on their web browsers. Does anybody have experience with this? I need to know how to upload the web page file for Mozilla Firefox and try not to damage the page. Can anybody help?
Does Yahoo web hosting has SSI (hosting Server Side Include) support?

Frustration with web page uploading, newbie. PLEASE HELP!?
This is getting quite tiring and I might as well rip my hair out. I’m pretty sure that I’m making a bigger deal of this than it really is but I haven’t uploaded a web page before. I already have made multiple pages using notepad but I can’t seem to put them on the WWW. Here’s the deal: As a basic start, I am only uploading my “tester” home page for now. What’s a free web hosting server?
I’m looking for a free web hosting server that I can use h.t.m.l on. All the ones I’ve found have some tiny fee like a set-up fee for domain….but I want all free…is there one like that? (don’t tell me freewebs, that’s not h.t.m.l)

Domains and Hosting with godaddy.com?
I was considering starting up a website and making it kind of a portfolio. With godaddy.com, is web hosting and having a domain two different things? If so can I pay for the domain and then host using a different server? I am trying to go as cheap as I can. I have a web hosting server that is free that I used when I was in school, but I want to have my own domain with my own email address. Thanks for any info…..
