   Black Ice used to be free and worked with Zone Alarm Firewall for this….. click button to report intrusion attempts … McAfee Firewall I believe still has this type service but is not free. However , maybe a McAfee user can give the name of the orgonization to try them online at their main site for services. Can’t remember their name. Used it couple years ago.

   A first question is do you have a router? Set up the security on the router. That may not take care of all of your security issues. But, it will take care of some of them.

   Change the default login and password for the router. Hide the SSID.

   SetUp MAC accessing These are just a few.

   Grab a book from the local library to help setup the router security. Cisco has a small 100 page book with some pics to help out.

   first of all, check all of the sources of the pages on your site that use php includes. and make sure they only include locally and not remotely

   second of all, lol hosting a site on windows, bad idea to start with.setting up a vpn with a live linux distro isn’t that hard.

   third(and most relevant to your question), there’s a program called wireshark that monitors incoming and outgoing traffic to your computer. it doesn’t block addresses or anything fancy, but it records all types of connections used (tcp, udp, ftp, http, etc.) you can download wireshark from

   Better use bitdefender2010.. It has special functions which will help u from any external users. It will monitor all the datas from and to our computers. Im using this bitdefender for years and im so confident in it, im also sure that i will help u protect your computer from hackers. Go ahead Good luck..
