I was given my FTP username, password, and the site url.
I logged into my FTP and it shows all of my files.
I made a layout and everything for my new site and I would like to know how I could edit my site so I can put my layout and things on.
I am used to editing my site by using webs.com, as that was my previous host.

i have a same problem 2..but i try with a site host..that maybe can be…
Download all the files and folders on the site, just as they are (IOW, all the files in a folder on the site should be in that folder on your computer.) If you have to edit anything, edit it on your computer. (You can use Notepad, but there are programs – like Notepad Plus – that make it easier.) The files are text files, so you don’t need anything too fancy. Once you have the file working the way you want it, upload it to the site. (Installing xampp on your computer will let you run the site locally, so you can see what your changes do before exposing them to the world.)
Design the site in your computer. Then get an FTP client. WhizFTP is the best option. Its free and fast as well. It will login to the account and then you can upload all you want
