I like HostPapa.com. They are green. They are very helpful and have all kinds of capability. The cost is in line with what you are saying (they have a special going on right now). Try them.

When a company says they offer unlimited, it is true as long as it is a popular company. This is because if they claimed it was unlimited but all their customers wrote bad reviews on them, than that gives them a bad name.

There are many web hosting providers and you might become confused to choose which one. It is very important that you choose a good web host. Good doesn’t mean expensive. Good means reliable with great support.

Some people try to save money and choose to go with a free web host. They usually realize pretty quickly what a huge mistake that is. I’m all for free whenever possible, but free web hosting will end up costing much more than you save.

But, let’s face it – how do you know if a web host is good or not? They all look pretty much the same and they seem like they know what they are doing, right? Well, I recommend reading reviews so that you may compare and become more familiar with the hosting companies before making a decision.

When you choose a web host, make sure they have excellent support. If you have a problem with your web site you want help now, not in a day or two.

If you are having problem choosing a web hosting to use, I suggest you do the following:

    1. Go to the webhost review sites such as webhostinggeeks or web-hosting-top.com and list down about 3 common top hosting companies.
    2. Next, for each web hosting X, do a “X sucks” search on Google. Read some complaints and see if you may encounter the same problems like them. Some of the complaints may relate to certain groups of users only such as VPS, dedicated server users or resellers. So you may not be affected if you are not from these categories.
    3. Eliminate those hostings you feel uncomfortable with, and look for the best bargain hosting for your money.

You should feel safe with Fatcow, Webfaction and ICDsoft.

    Good luck.

http://www.goldpuma.com is the lowest cost service which is full-featured and really works for you ($3.99 /month). They accept monthly payments.

But if you’re looking for the best service on the web, as an experienced webmaster I recommend BlueHost service which I’m sure it would work for you and fulfill all your requirements. They have a really great offer for hosting & I have used them for over 3 yrs now, and have never had a single problem with them.

They offer a Full-featured service only $6.95 a month. You can see their Plan Details accompanied with reliable reviews regarding their service at:

I recommend one of these: http://www.hosttell.com/

Powweb has the best offer right now. It’s on a 50% sale – $3.88/month ($46.56/year), and you get a free domain from them.
You can keep your existing domain and transfer it to Powweb for free (and get your registration extended for one more year).

PowWeb currently on special, only 3.88/month. You should chech this out:

Since you budget is tight (only 4.99 /month or less), I would recommend

    - IX Web Hosting $3.95/month (review @ http://www.castironhostingreview.com/ixwebhosting.html )

I agree, I personally LOVE HostGator!. But, I would recommend going through a site like http://hostgumbo.com right now they are offering your first three months of hosting free, no matter what host you pick, so pick hostgator. You won’t regret it. They are an experienced company and I’ve never had any downtime with my sites.
