first of all, check with the company you have internet access through, you may already have ‘space’ on their server. There are also some simple free web site hosts as well…. As to buying space, I am considering using fatcow.com …they are inexpensive.
as to posting…if you do not know html or have a web design program, you will probably want to find a web host that has some kind of online website builder that means you won’t have to deal with any coding. This can be done through Firefox, explorer, safari etc. If you are going to make your website and upload it, there may be some hosts that let you upload files through a web interface, but there are a lot of free ftp programs available online for both PC and Mac.
