your link doesn’t work, fix it and I’ll answer again?
Is your picture meant to indicate the bookmark is 1.5 inches below the top?
If so, then your first objective is to figure out how many pages into the book would be at 1.5 inches. If the book is 800 pages and 2 inches thick, you need to solve this equation:
1.5 X (800/2) = bookmark location. That tells you that the bookmark is 600 pages in.
If the measurements are to the nearest tenth of an inch, that means the bookmark could be anywhere from 1.45 inches to 1.54 inches below the top. That’s the range which would round to 1.5.
So use the same technique to figure out the page range.
One end of the range is 1.45 X (800/2). The other end is 1.54 X (800/2). You can solve those.
