   No, don’t go with GoDaddy. A lot of negative reviews about it.

   I, myself, use TLS Hosting ( http://tlshosting.com ). If I’m not mistaken, I read it in their blog that they have an affiliation with church. So, hosting with them will help God’s work as well That’s one of the reasons why I host with them.

   Their service is really good as well. I monitored my sites using pingdom.com service, they have 99.99% server uptime. Really deliver what is guaranteed. Customer support is top notch as well. They attend to my tickets in under 45 minutes every time, even on weekends.

   I’m 16 and recently started a web design business making sites for local businesses. For advise, I’m going to ask DON’T USE GODADDY FOR WEB HOSTING!

   GoDaddy is a great site to buy domain names, but not so much for web hosting. HostGator is MUCH better and much cheaper too. They even have a web hosting reseller program that is pretty reasonably priced. Also you will get discount of $9.94 of a hosting package price when you use the coupon “greatprice”

   The thing about the Internet is that it evens the playing field. With a little bit of work your website can show up high on search results by using SEO techniques. Just google that and look at the sites that aren’t in the paid results. Also you should start using twitter. To get followers make replys to tweets that are your customers. To research that go to http://search.twitter.com The optimum time to post is between 8:00 – 10:00 PM Sometimes if you follow someone they will just follow you as a courtesy.

   You can also contact bloggers and ask them to write about you. Don’t do that right away, however. Get a conversation going with them to break the ice then pitch your product. To research blog topics go to http://technorati.com/

   Don’t underestimate the connections of your facebook friends either. Ask them individually if they know anyone who might use you services. If you broadcast it it’ll look like spam. You can also start a business account about your company, but I’m sure you know that. That you could announce on your wall to your friends.

   Also, you can make comments on discussion forums and use your URL in your signature. Make sure you DON’T advertise your services when posting in forums. That will get you banned.

   Use fatcow for hosting they are the best and easy to navigate. Don’t label your self as a “company” if it is just you, then you are a freelancer. Get business cards and get the word around.

   Also I don’t like godaddy personally, I have used it and don’t care for it.
