I completed a video in Windows Movie Maker but can’t get it copied to CD, Web Host or email. When I do any of the 3 things the format is not recognized and it either won’t upload to the web host or it comes up with the pictures and audio missing. I tried downloading a converter but it too does not recognize the file format. Please help me. Only serious answers please. I’m about to have a break down. I want to make copies of the video to pass out to family at my daughters graduation. Thank you in advance.
It sounds like maybe you just clicked “Save Project” instead of “Save Movie File.” You need to end up with a file that ends in “.wmv” for it to be recognized and played on other computers. The Save Movie process should take a long time and create a pretty big .wmv file. Burning that on a CD should do the trick.
